Imaging Plaza is the result of a collaboration between the EPFL Center for Imaging Swiss Data Science Center.
Coteries has developed the Imaging Plaza web application, an online catalogue of imaging software with an ontology-based search system that makes it effortless to navigate the diverse landscape of imaging software.
This initiative represents a transformative leap for the Swiss research community, amplifying the accessibility, innovation and reliability of collaboration in the field of imaging sciences.

From idea to prototype
When the teams from the Imaging Centre and the Swiss Data Science Centre came to see us, they aimed to create an app to address the lack of communication and sharing of existing work between various research laboratories.
The challenge was to define the idea more clearly and bring it to life.
To achieve this, we held a few Design Workshops to define the requirements, functionality, interface, user experience, design, etc.
Once this first stage had been completed, we had a prototype that perfectly met the initial needs.
Development of the web app
Once the prototype had been validated, we were able to move on to the development phase of the web application. Its main features are an advanced search with a keyword filter, and a dashboard that allows contributors to add their project and share it with the community.
