Design of an international website for a humanitarian organization
Projet en bref
Medair is a Christian humanitarian organisation that responds to conflict, disease and disasters so that the world’s most vulnerable and hard-to-reach people can live with dignity and hope.
Coteries was chosen from among five agencies to design their new website. The main objectives were to modernize the organization's image and raise its notoriety, as well as to increase online donations.
This project represented a major challenge in terms of design, but also from a technical point of view. Indeed, Medair's teams wanted a multilingual, geolocalised site, integrating content and payment methods specific to each region.

A creative concept that goes back to basics
We worked on a complete redesign, starting from scratch with a creative concept inspired by the Medair logo.
As a result, the Medair “i” dot has been reinterpreted as a symbol of the Earth, round, global and subtly present throughout the site.
In addition, the color beige was incorporated to reflect the human aspect, found both in the backgrounds and in the texture, designed to evoke the topography of the regions where Medair operates.
Challenges worthy of an international website
One of the challenges of this website redesign was to provide a high-quality user experience for visitors from all over the world. This meant integrating a multilingual, geolocalized donation form, enabling payment methods to be displayed according to the user's location.
This complexity was compounded by the need to integrate Findock, a payment solution for Salesforce. A world first for this type of project!
We also had to overcome the limitations of Webflow, which supports multilingual management but not geolocation, by developing a tailor-made solution. For example, a user located in the United States can view the website in French, with content and payment options specific to his or her region.
Cooperation: an essential element for project success
In conclusion, coordination with the Medair teams was crucial in meeting deadlines and keeping up with this complex website.
Thanks to effective communication and active involvement on both sides, we were able to bring this project to a successful completion.
A fine example of how the availability of our customers can influence the success of their projects, and a great success for our small team, whose wide-ranging skills enabled us to meet a challenge of international scope!
